The label says this wine will be best drinking between 2008 and 2016, We opened it last week at dinner and I have to say it was certainly at its best. I rarely leave wines to mature so long but I am glad I allowed this one some years.
Its deep red colour, pleasant nose and shot of berry fruit flavours, spices and hint of oak, were matched with a rich full bodied palate with fine tannins and a long lingering finish which invited another taste (or glass).
My only regret is that I don’t have any more of this excellent wine in my cellar.
